That was pretty inexcusable. It would have been a difficult catch but very doable. He has graded out as one of the worst receivers in the league this year, despite having had good years the past two seasons and being in a contract year. Don’t know what is wrong with that guy.

The problem is that he's forced into playing on the outside for the second staight season. He's a a great slot receiver. On the outside he has zero ability to get open.

And for the record, Pinkston has to stop and reverse direction to step into the middle about about 472 pounds of Redskins defensive backfield charging directly at him at full speed to come back and catch Donovan's medicine ball on that play. Pinkston also went on to catch a long bomb for a TD in an easy win that night.

On this one, there was nobody between Agholor and the end zone. He wasn't going to be breathed on.

I've never understood Doug's "let's weaken two positions" strategy in dealing with WR injuries. Wouldn't it make more sense to try Hollins, Ward, and/or Michel on the outside before taking Nelson away from a position you know he's good at, and putting him where you know he's absolutely awful?

I suspect Agholor is going to be one of those guys who leaves Philly and has a respectable rest of his career.
