It doesn't matter. U had a RB who was running well. Sproles could have handled 8-10 carries in the 2nd half. Tell me he couldn't...

        693 … Luck

        666 … Bradford
        660 … Stafford
        658 … Bledsoe
        658 ... Derek Carr

Yet another case for Gomer being a moron. He's gonna cause his franchise QB's arm to fall off.

The last TD was garbage time stats. Prior to that, he was 19-36 for 268 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, with 3 rushes for 31 yards.

53 of those passing yards came on that flukey pass to Ertz before the half.

The run game isn't doing him any favors, but, he needs to play better for them to really have a shot. His decision making and accuracy really lack some times.

If this is a case for being a moron does that make Bill Parcells a moron?

I'm not sure I subscribe to Diggle's analysis that he's somewhere between Dalton and Flacco in terms of talent, but I see him as a second tier QB, behind the top-level guys like Brady, Rodgers, Brees. I think he's more capable of winning a game than Dalton (who's had AJ Green most of his career!) and Flacco (who's basically had guys who are a step slower than jeffrey) and is completely immobile or incapable of improvisation.

He just tries to make too much lemonade with those Lemons, the interior line is mediocre at a best, we don't have a competent runner capable of taking on 20 carriers a game (CJ Anderson as an example of a decent, but not amazing talent) and our coach is FF jr. - in size and aptitude.

He's going to have a shorter and much more annoying career if he continues the houdini broken play act and throws those lofting high balls that Torrey Smith enjoys tipping.

He's clearly a NFL starting QB. He's not Josh McCown or Ryan Fitzpatrick.

His biggest issues (IMO mechanics and decision making) are correctible. He has the body and arm to suceed, they just need to tighten up how he throws the ball (which will help with his deep ball accuracy and not getting so many passes batted down at the LOS) and how he makes decisions in regards to taking a shot or living to play another day. Fumbling is an issue too.

It's only game 18, so he deserves some time to iron out those kinks, but, if he doesn't work on fixing those things then they're in trouble as far as putting a consistent performance on the field each week.

Not giving him a running game is going to go a LONG way to hindering him from getting any better.

Let's also not forget the beautiful pass to Smith that was dropped in the end zone...right on his hands.

He's uneven ... can't make a call on who he is yet.

Sometimes he looks like a top tier prospect and other times he looks like a pedestrian 2d year guy ... not reading the entire field and brain-farting on ball security in critical situations.

If he plays more like the first guy and less like the second, we're fine there.

13 RUSHING PLAYS, PLUS 4 BY WENTZ.

13 RUSHING PLAYS..... COACH NEEDS TO GIVE THIS KID SOME HELP, GIVE HIM A BREAK, AND RUN THE DAMN BALL, BUT HE IS ANDY JR......SO....GOOD LUCK WITH THAT.

2nd OR 3rd AND SHORT, THAT'S WHY YA BROUGHT BLOUNT IN. GIVE HIM THE F'N BALL.

WENTZ WOULD BE MORE PRODUCTIVE WITH A THREAT RUNNING GAME.

Richie on WIP today said the Chiefs were dropping 8 all day.

Said you put fucking Blount in the game and get under center and even if he doesn't get the ball, you make them respect it.

But again there was second guessing by some

If Sproles didn't run the ball so much on the first half, would he have fumbled the ball on the punt return? I think they should ride Blount til he proves he can't get more than 1 yard a carry. Then go to the younger guys. There's speculation that AP is not happy with his workload in NO. I don't know if the Saints would trade him or cut him.

You're way dumber than Pederson could ever be if you want to use Sproles at age 34 - who never in his career had more than 95 carries in a season - as a 300+ carry back.

WIP! Bwah! Reminds of that moron Cataldi's article. He's ALWAYS wrong.

Pederson’s pass-first philosophy will destroy both Eagles and Wentz
Two games into a new season, Eagles fans are split on what the No. 1 theme has been so far. Some believe it’s Doug Pederson’s undying affection for the forward pass. Others think it is the head coach’s strong aversion to all running plays. Either way, the team is facing its first crisis.

I'm all in favor of more runs but I dont see a back. They're maxing out Sproles and all the other playmakers are receivers. Might as well give it a try though so people start bitching about something else.
