But you are right. This list doesn’t begin the plumb the depths of BCJ ineptitude drafted in the Lurie Area.
    Ah...bad job by me.

Jesus, I forgot all about Trevor Laws. He’s an irrelevant BCJ.

Jon Harris is the clear choice. He was an absolute disaster from the first snap of his career. Could never play. TWATKINS could but never wanted to.

twatkins is esgles HOF’er compared to HARRIS. I’ll never forget that draft day interview he gave about missing his selection because he was driving to a relatives house who had ESPN2 because he was so sure he is going to be a third or fourth round pick.

      Never.

edited to add: Harris was such a goddamned bum, if you type JON HARRIS highlights in youtube NOTHING XOMES UP. even TWATKINS has youtube video. Not HARRIS.

Check out the next 6 DE's drafted in 2003 after McDougle. It's easy to remember when you pass on guys who become major stars, but there are typically a lot of other misses mixed in there too. With McDougle, to have a complete miss on a pick that high when the next 6 guys picked would have been somewhere between solid starter and valuable depth is pretty amazing.

No I get it, it is just the craziness that surrounded his situation made him special that's all lol

And then in the next round, we took Little John over the clear and obvious best TE in the draft, Jason Witten. Going into that draft, TE was considered our biggest need. Most of us wanted Witten in the 1st round.

It's amazing how often this happens to this team.
