I didn't see anything from last night's game but it sounds like it was another horsebleep call which has taken my fandom down considerably the last five years or so. Not only are the calls absurd but also inconsistent. How many times have we seen Wentz's head get hit with an errant swat of the hand but nothing is called. Don't get me wrong, I f'n hate the rule but at least be consistent.

As we all know by now the refs can easily control the games with the silly rules in place now.

I read that one of the points of emphasis for this year is even more protection for the QBs. Its pathetic, but the NFL knows they created a QB league and they can't have their leading men on the sidelines.
The ratings are already slipping...these fat cats are gonna do everything they can to keep the gravy train rolling - including that lame-ass call last night
