Not really news, but he was a great Eagle. This should be it for him.

Never want to see an injury but this may actually help the Eagles forcing Doug to stay away from using him. -

My feelings exactly. He'll always have my respect for having a GREAT,long career and being a great guy but I never understood why they brought him back anyway. It was pretty clear to me that his burst has been gone for two seasons now. I have no idea what they were looking at outside of it being a feel-good,sentimental decision to bring him back.
