    Kempski may have nailed it:

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Philadelphia Eagles have signed rookie kicker Jake Elliott, who was a fifth round draft pick of the Cincinnati Bengals out of Memphis in 2017.

It's perhaps fair to wonder if the Eagles are bringing in Elliott as something of a try-out for the long term

      AS AMAZING AS THAT WAS...

ONE SECOND LEFT, PRESSURE, HISTORY MAKING KICK, BLAH BLAH, HE IS A VERY INCONSISTENT KICKER. OBVIOUSLY HAS ENOUGH LEG.

      PRACTICE YOUNG MAN PRACTICE.

LIFE OF A KICKER, AS FOR MOST OF US, WHAT HAVE DONE FOR ME LATELY.

Guity. He's missed two FG and and PAT though. He got it right yesterday, Morten Anderson he isn't.

When did he miss a PAT? He missed a 30 yarder against the Chiefs that would have tied it at 6; they scored a 2nd half TD to make it 10-6; he hit a FG and another extra point. The only FGs he missed were the 30 yarder and the 52 yarder yesterday. Sturgis missed a PAT in the Skins game I believe.

Thats prob what I am thinking about. Didn't have tv coverage here so just watched it on the NFL site play by play.
