But I don't think garbage like this matters for ratings. HOWEVER, besides political controversy, plays like Sterling Shepard's "catch" or Golden Taint's "touchdown" are contributing to a ratings drop. Most action should be on the field, not via Mr. McMahon rules.

      IS THAT ROGER GOODELL'S MUSIC?

To reiterate though - fuck the pats. Hopefully they all drank enough water to avoid skin cancer.

....it's not exclusive but inclusive. Jacked up tix prices & parking fees, concession costs, PSLs, crap officiating, crappy criminals getting excuse after excuse to play just so they are producing.

The items you mentioned...things are accumulating and the latest political BS isn't going to help.

        It's all symptomatic IMO.

          You're right.

I have noticed over the last year or two, that if the eagles aren't on or they're out of it, I just tend to do other things or I'm less worried about being in front of the TV. It's freeing, really.

I've definitely had seasons when I've been that way, particularly towards the end of FF's tenure. I love the Fall so it's great to get outside and enjoy it instead of sitting inside like a hermit. It's definitely less stressful.
