They couldn't heap enough praise and adulation on Ray Lewis. Even built a statue for him outside the stadium.

Now there's a petition with over 35,000 signatures wanting to tear the statue down. The Ravens have posted a guard for the statue. All because he "took a knee" on Sunday.

So in Baltimore, being complicit in the murder of another human being - OK. Kneeling during anthem - NOT OK.

Says a lot about how far we've come (in the wrong direction)

My boss apparently has stopped being a Ravens fan. This is the guy who carries around a copy of the Constitution in his pocket.

Apparently it's like a pocket handkerchief. Just decoration. Is there a bible in the other one?

But I was thinking about how taking a knee is somehow as bad as setting fires and rioting suddenly. Weird country right now.

I don't think the same 35,000 were ok with Lewis' murder or statue as well. This time around someone with more free time and/or ambition was compelled to act.
