Three drives. Game tying, game winning, game winning. All TD passes.
I don't care who you're playing, that's money. Now throw the Falcons, Lions, and Pats drops into the equation, and I think we can say Carson's over the "clutch" hump.
He absolutely needs to work on protecting the football, but my biggest question about him has been answered. As ugly as this season's been, that's a huge silver lining.
No doubt. He's got "it." I guess I just have really high expectation. Like top 5 qb expectations. He needs to be more consistent. Right now he giveth and he taketh away. Luckily he's had a chance with the ball in his hands the last two weeks.
Next week is basically a home playoff game. Let's see it.

Look stress is at an all time high with this team so I will take my lumps and also say I'm sorry if I go off sometimes so there is my apology.
You would be correct and I would expect more sure if we had more to work with but damn look at what the kid has had around him this year coupled with all the drops a coach that had him throwing 50 times a game and a defense that will do you no favors. The fact that his TD to INT ratio is what it is is incredible at this point.
QB's are judged by wins and losses but he was 3 TD drops from being 10-4 and easily division champs so we have to look at that too.
I'm sure swap Wentz with Mahomes and give him all KC weapons we would be outstanding as well. If they get a Wentz a legit #1 and a field stretcher he will be just fine. No doubt he needs to work on holding the ball that is all on him even if he is trying to compensate and create from nothing he can't continue to be that careless.

Agreed. 100%.
If they'd lost, I wouldn't have been "out" on Wentz or anything. But I would have given him almost as much blame as I'm giving him credit.

I found it aggravating when they showed the "tale of two Wentzes" or whatever graphic during the game. Yes, Wentz 12-13 since 2017, but he's put of good numbers with a bunch of other problems on the team.
If Lane Johnson doesn't play, I'll find it very difficult to assess Wentz and/or the coaches based on next week's game. The team's best WR is a UDFA rookie converted QB. It's a huge opportunity, especially for Wentz to silence critics, but as long as Jordan Howard's is like the team's 5th most important injury, it would take a pretty colossal fuck-up for me to blame a loss next week on something besides personnel.
