He was on the waiver so the only cost would have been game snaps, but then that does become a big deal when you think that they probably would have come at the expense of Ward, since Artega would have still probably gotten his chances due to his draft position.

It always did seem like the Pats knew something. It seemed like they got away with everyone thinking it was due to the injury he had at the time. Then he was claimed and playing so that didn't make much sense, but it was never questioned much.

I did not comment on the reason, I think they should stop testing for marijuana, it not like it is a PED and it is heading to legalization anyway.
