Doug Pederson and “the new norm”

Despite the injuries, the dropped passes, the questionable play calling, the aging roster, the suspect defense, Wentz’s ups and downs, not making a trade at the deadline, and the dumpster fire that is the NFC East. This team is playing a meaningful football game in week 17 and is on the cusp of 3 straight playoff appearances. Only a handful of teams earn that privilege every year and to do it with a skeleton crew of a roster will deserve its due propers if and when the time comes.

This season has been mostly hard to watch but for now it’s fun again and for that I’m thankful.
