Lacerated, Doug said he has no idea where these stories start by you guys (meaning reporters) and he is day to day with the ribs.

He didn't say that ... he gave a non-answer-answer when asked regarding the kidney by saying something about not listening to all the stories he hears about injuries ... but he did NOT specify that there was no kidney injury.

What he said was that the Eagles would not play anyone who would be in danger. Whether you can you extrapolate that as meaning the kidney isn't lacerated because they wouldn't play a guy with that injury would require more of a medical expert than I am.
