Take a good long look at the combine performance charts in item 5 of this article. A good long look.

correction: one of the charts is from a “pro day”.

Horrific. Metcalf might have won us a couple extra games, including that playoff game. Inexcusable.

I still can't believe he drafted a dude named Marvin McNutt.

If you tried to only draft the worst receivers based on rankings Howie would be the best in the business. It’s like StuGotz going 0-14 vs spread in the first 14 bowl games

In their defense, DK had a few concerns after the combine. He struggled in the route running drills and there was a neck injury that obviously scared most of the teams. I can't totally knock Howie for missing a player that was eventually drafted with the 64th pick. The issue I have is that they liked BCJJ. It's obvious he didn't pick up the playbook since I don't recall a player running into so many other players this year. That being said, Howie will need to draft two WRs to increase his odds on another deep wideout draft. The second wideout pick doesn't have to necessarily have to be a high pick but it has to be done if they have 10 picks.

On another note, they need to minimize their footprint in free agency again. They'll need at least one more year where they take advantage of getting compensation picks (Vaitai should get them a decent pick alone due to salary he will get). This team can easily dumpster dive to fill in the gaps.

Dr Kavorkian has a more stellar medical reputation than the Eagles training staff at this point.
