There has been chatter, and I'm shocked no one has caught it, that the organization wants to offer McCown a coaching job and he would possibly come in as the OC as be already coaches HS football. Considering Doug calls the plays, McCown has wealth of knowledge from all the offenses he has run in his career and he can also help with mentoring 11.

Said if he doesn't want to come back as the back job is his.

I find it interesting that everyone the Eagles have reportedly requested to speak to have virtually all declined and decided to stay with their respective teams.
