Please ... anyone who doesn't have Jackie Brown in his top five loses all credibility with me from jump.

And, although he didn't direct it, True Romance (his script) is so fucking good it has to be on my top five list ... I read that Tony Scott was given the scripts to both True Romance and Reservoir Dogs and was told to pick one because Tarantino, who was new to the business at the time didn't think he could do both, Scott picked True Romance.

I'm glad Tony Scott directed it. Tarantino's script isn't as good as the movie. All the great stuff is in there, it's absolutely his, but he did the non-linear thing that he loved to do at the time, and it didn't do it justice. I also think visually, Scott was better director than Tarantino was back then. Now, he's fantastic... Hollywood is jaw-droppingly gorgeous.
