Why are we assuming Kendricks still has one foot out the door? He's on pace for 100 tackles and a handful of sacks playing around 60% of the defensive snaps, and those numbers are likely to increase. His contract doesn't look nearly as bad as it did a year ago. He's earning his check every week.

The reason they were sour on Kendricks to begin with is because they didn’t like his coverage abilities. Bowman’s lost a ton of speed from the Achilles injury and SF had been taking him out of series to “save his legs.” I don’t think he’s a fit for the Schwartz D.
