  • Only 23 perfect games ever

That's a pretty cool stat. A couple others:

Fewest pitches in a complete game: 58 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shutouts_in_baseball That isn't happening ever again. I think Maddux threw 77 in one game if I remember rightly.
Fewest points allowed in an NFL season: (14 games): 129 (9 points or so per game). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1977_A...0NFL%20season. I don't find that all that awesome, since the variables involved are their schedule, etc etc.
Most Points scored in NFL Season: 589 2007 Cheatriots who the f cares?
Wilt 100 someone's gonna break that some day
Longest NHL Shutout streak: Brian Boucher, 332 minutes of playing time.

For my money, the toughest thing on the list is a tossup between the perfect game and 58 pitch complete game. You'll see more perfect games, you won't see any Heinz 57 pitch counts for nine innings ever. So that's the toughest.

You know what surprised me? I just looked up George Brett's lifetime BA. I would've bet the house it was higher than .305. Well, at least DQ's house.
