Carson got no credit for today, he did what he could with what he had.

He gets credit for the last drive in regulation. Other than that, he threw 2 INT's, almost lost a fumble and missed a wide open Sanders which would have won the game.

              Overall, he stunk.

You gotta stop the wentz fellating, he was horrible. Lesser qb's have done much more with less.

With all due respect ... the overthrow of Sanders was fucked (and Wentz knew it when he slammed his helmet after the play) ... but there is zero support for the contention that it would have won the game at that point in the game.

Additionally, when a QB makes a bunch of mistakes but then goes down the field at the end to tie it, he did his job.

And then did his job again when he had scramble that ACTUALLY wins the fucking game with a very makable FG in OT, if Herbig (sp?) doesn't extend his arm on a block that he already made when Wentz was past his guy.

Wentz is off right now but this "he's a bum" shit is as laughable as the statement I read earlier this week on this forum suggesting that a even a franchise QB doesn't need good coaching for mechanics.

Wentz, if not for him you lose that game.

Regarding good coaching for mechanics: you know I doubt they teach Patrick Mahomes unorthodox throwing mechanics at Manning Passing Camp. Mahomes does however have characteristics that Wentz does not have such as

                              Arm Talent
                              Balls
                              Calm Head on His Shoulders

                              None of which you teach.

Having Hill, Watkins, Hardman and Kelce to throw to means nothing if you are going to throw it five yards over their heads. Like the Glengarry leads they’d be wasted on Wentz,
