These were years with an abundance of WR talent in the draft. Almost like you couldnt miss. And Howie appears to have missed twice. When folks on here say one of us could have done better, it is actually probably true.

Did you see Metcalf's monumental phuck-up today? He caught a long pass and was about to score but he relaxed right before he crossed the goal line which allowed the Dallas DB to punch the ball out and it sailed out the back of the end zone for a touchback.

There are only two circumstances under which Howie would have picked JJAW:

1. he wanted to pick a wide receiver and he judged JJAW the best receiver available

or

2. he took the best player available among all the players available, and that was JJAW.
