  • Here’s a fun stat

Carson Wentz has a passer rating one point above Doug Pedersen’s passer rating for the Eagles in 1999. His touchdown percentage and interception percentage are actually worse than Pedersen’s were.

Yep. He’s had a real bad three game stretch.

      He sure has.

Hurts on the bench is freaking him out and now he gets to hear about Foles.

Packers drafted a QB in the 1st round and Aaron Rodgers is playing lights out, must be nice.

I’ll be happy to eat crow if Wentz comes around just like I did with Pedersen in 2017. I think he’s finished.

Well, I hope you're wrong about that also ... but I still think three games is too soon to draw that conclusion.

I mean, Foles stunk it up in Jacksonville and now he's a mind fuck threat to Wentz right?

And of course there's always things like this when guys have a bad stretch.

EDITED TO ADD: I think Wentz was aiming the ball yesterday instead of throwing it and my pseudo psychiatric analysis is that he's afraid of INT's now ... but that's coachable ... I just don't think they have the coaching there ... and I hope I'M wrong about that.

Doug says the plan is to “unclutter” Wentz’s mind. Simplified game plan, less audibles, less decision making at the line. In other words Wentz is more Jared Goff than Tom Brady/Peyton Manning.
