  • Typical douche “cheesesteak?” Recomendations request fronlocals

Crush me if you want. This is super douchey:

part of our annual trip up is to partake in cheesesteaks from somewhere. We’ve done pats, Geno’s, Jim’s, Tony Luke’s, and some shithole.

What’s next and the best we have overlooked?

    diNic’s?

diNic's for roast pork I like mine with provolone, broccoli rabe, and long hot peppers. But get what you like. It's a true Philly sandwich... in some ways more classic than a chesesteak and better than a lot of the wannabee cheesesteak joints.

Got 2 big ass bags of chicken cubes marinating in spiedie sauces. One Lupo’s and one Salamedia. It’s on like the final battle in YOU GOT SERVED.

Duck's recco is legit but not in the Center City area. Worth seeking out if you have time.

Chesesteaks are great but I think roast pork sandwiches are the true hidden Phila.gem.

This is going to be an awesome faceoff. Too bad RSE will not be there.. But you and Zubaz can judge. It's gotta be blinded!

The difference in color in the bags is easy tell (green for Salamedi, red for Lupo’s)

But, we are planning on putting on skewers tomorrow night and putting on ice for weekend so may not to be able to tell which is which.

Maybe I should cook them on my exhaust manifold for 400 Miles instead

I don't have to be there. Salamida's sauce tastes like Lupo's with dirt in it.

Salamida chicken sauce is the balls, though.

I'm a pork speidie fan. When I was a kid that's all my dad cooked.

John's roast pork for the best combination of cheesesteaks and roast pork sandwiches imo.

I was in Reading Terminal Market last visit and had Spataro's. It wasn't so bad. Tried to do Jim's but couldn't deal with the line.
