He seems to know what motivates a team and he is using it to amazing effect, 'emotional intelligence,' indeed. But you also cannot dismiss the fact he is having a helluva impact on Wentz (along with Reich and Defilipo), they are doing a great job turning him into a full-fledged franchise QB. Even yesterday's clunker, if a 33-10 drubbing can be called that, is just another step in the Wentz and team growth factor. When an offensive player says it felt like a loss on that side of the ball because they didn't pull their weight, it is a sign of team unity and great character.
