Elliott Granted A Delay of Suspension

Thing is the ruling is never changing. It's just that they're delaying the suspension until the next appeal is heard. He'll serve it, it's just a matter of when.
Maybe it'll go to the Supreme Court and we can all thank Trump's appointee for a moment.-Slizz of Wangnutz

They gave Brady the same stay when he jerked it around.
The NFL contended that because Brady ultimately lost, they shouldn't give Elliot the stay, ie. that if they can do it to Brady for air in footballs they can do it even more to Elliot for domestic violence, so why postpone the inevitable?
But everyone generally gets to argue their case on the merits so they're staying shit until Elliot gets his day in court.Last edited by slag; 11-03-2017, 10:30 AM.Obscenity is the last refuge of an inarticulate motherfucker.

That's what the NFL argued ... why hold this up when you already said we could do it to Brady?
And it appears that the court said, in effect, even if we will likely uphold your suspension, Eliot gets to argue why he's different.Last edited by slag; 11-03-2017, 10:32 AM.Obscenity is the last refuge of an inarticulate motherfucker.

Please correct me if I'm wrong
I have no law background whatsoever, but in my opinion this situation is making a complete joke of the entire judicial system. How can this decision go back and forth so many times? I understand someone's rights to appeal one or two times, but this is starting to get ridiculous. Seems like it's all about the money and publicity."But again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look in the mirror."

I think it was about the filing in the 5th circuit/whatever district Court
