If they are going to do ankle reconstruction, like an OATS procedure, there is a question in my mind of his career being over. That construction is a brutal recovery. Non weight bearing for three months. Then you start rehab. Then after that you likely have to have the screws taken out at about 9-12 months. That ankle will never be right again.
