I think the Eagles coul have won the SB in 2017 without Wentz

I don’t think you can discount what Wentz did in 2017. He elevated the franchise and they don’t get the #1 seed without him IMO.

Other things being equal, I’m also not sure if they win the SB with Wentz. That’s really nothing against him. It’s just that Nick Foles was incredible in the Super Bowl.

Foles had those two awesome playoff games in 2017. No doubt about it. He deserves all the praise in the world for those two games. Prior to that, he was not capable of putting together two quality games in a row since 2013. Wentz was the MVP in 2017. Foles wouldn't have been even close. There's enough film and stats out there to support this.

Snakebitten, I hate to break this news to you but Wentz was NOT the MVP in 2017. Foles was the MVP of the Super Bowl and he was the reason we won the Super Bowl and no one will ever know if Wentz could have done the same thing. Some players just rise to the occasion in clutch situations and that what Foles did. Wentz has NOT proven to be one of those players who is able to do that.

If foles was the starter all year in 2017 we don’t win more than 4 games. Foles caught lightning in a bottle for 2 games and thank god for it. Other than that, foles blows
