The problem isn't Doug, it's Schwartz. It's obvious that he's sabotaging Pederson at this point. The story came out years ago that he was and he is. Failure to adjust, never disguising blitzes, having control of defensive personnel decisions which never pan out. Cutting Fort for no reason, Jones playing well as soon as he leaves, insane misallocation of assets on D(Jackson and Hargrave), ignoring the LB position, letting opponents walk right down the field as soon as they get a lead, huge cushions, no doubling of receivers tearing them apart. He knows he's never getting another HC job anywhere else because if he was he would've gotten one after winning the SB as a coordinator so this it it and to do so he has to get rid of Doug.
