If Jeff wanted to bring in outside OC and DC, then firing Doug makes sense. What good OC or DC would come into this situation to work for a coach on thin ice? Eagles are better off starting over with a new HC and new coordinators. Could really only keep Doug if you wanted to allow him to promote from within.

The only angle I've heard so far that i like is that they have someone in mind who also shows interest in us. Otherwise its just dysfunctional timing, reminds me of Reid
