To be fair, McDaniels won a lot of Super Bowls on Belicheck’s staff.

If we are being fair, the narrative around Bienemy is that Reid calls all the plays in KC.

Exactly. We don’t know who will be successful moving from an OC or DC to a head coach especially when they are coming from Reid or Belichick. But no matter who it is, he needs to be an important part of the roster make up. If Lurie let’s Howie have all the control, Vince Lombardi won’t help.

Yes, a guy named Tom Brady. Some of the talking points I've heard against McDaniels can also be used against Bieniemy. While the Indy job a few years ago is a red flag on one hand - it also tells me a well run team wanted JM and had to settle for a guy who gets an awful lot of credit around here.

Andy called the plays and Pederson got a head coaching job. Andy called the plays and fucking Brad Childress got a coaching job. Sean McVay called the plays in LA and Matt LaFleur got a job. So please. Of course it is the “narrative”.

Well yes you are correct and I agree with what you are saying. I was just pointing out that while Mcdaniels does not get credit for the success he had in NE, the same can be said for Bienemy in KC.
