Oh, absolutely. But they're incredibly fun to watch.

I don't have the gnawing fear that they're doing it with smoke and mirrors like under Chip Kelly.

I don't have the Reid-era worries that the defense is carrying a talented but erratic quarterback, or that the subpar receivers will be exposed against a team with any kind of talent.

      It's weird to have...hope.

..illegal procedures, improved halftime/ in-game adjustments and MUCH better clock management.

But agree it's fun to watch and weird to see the birds leading in so many categories at once.

The consensus pre-season expectation was .500. Some of us thought they were two or three games better than that, but we were in the minority. 8-8 was the safe, reasonable play.

They're 10-1, and they're routinely obliterating people. There's nothing flukey going on here, they're just straight-up slaughtering teams... one after the other. And they're going to have the NFC East officially wrapped up by the first weekend of December.

It's the most astonishing Eagles team and the most surreal season of my lifetime. It's been like a dream.

I'm fine with the halftime adjustments. It'd be nice if they hadn't had to wait until halftime to get their shit together against Dallas, but the other guys are getting paid, too.

I do wonder a little bit if Wentz's absurd ability to escape from pressure has masked some questionable OL play, though.

There. I expressed some doubts. That feels better.

                Isn't repeating Reid's mistakes and doing a 180 on Chip's TOP habit.

Time will tell, but football in the winter is looking to be exciting.

They're so much fun to watch.

Watching games in 2004 was pretty awesome but it feels like it doesn't compare to this team.

Maybe that's due to time and a run of mediocrity but I don't think so.

this team is better than the 04 team imo. better running game, better defense.

a key difference is that NFC was an absolute joke in 04, so as good as this team is, reaching the super bowl isn't a foregone conclusion.

The playoffs could very conceivably be identical to 2004. At home against Minnesota... at home against Atlanta... against New England in the SB.
