What a weird situation. On one hand, you're talking about hearsay that would never be admissible for the purpose of proving anything against Schiano himself. On the other hand, I believe just about everyone at PSU, from Paterno on down, was aware of what went on so it's not surprising. Crazy times.

I can't say I disagree with anything that you said.
IMO, Schiano is an OK game day coach but the guy is a damn good recruiter...and that was at a hard sell like Rutgers. All you have to do is look around the NFL and see the players who he had success with at RU. They haven't been the same since he left.
