I think you play him against the team you know you should beat with him in the lineup as opposed to the iffier game (a back to back on the road).

Agreed, it worked out just fine. The Sixers are keeping their heads above water during the toughest stretch of the season. They are going to feast on the weaker teams and should end up with 50+ wins. I am predicting they finish as either the #3 or #4 seed. They do need one more piece to leapfrog the Cavs and Celtics, not to mention the top teams in the West. I am curious whether they make a huge trade deadline acquisition, such as Paul George, or if they wait to offer him or LeBron a max contract this off-season.

Brown mentioned them having played the hardest schedule thus far. I don't know if that is true, but there haven't been a lot of cupcakes so far. I think 12-9 is pretty impressive given who they have played.

Haven't they played Golden State twice, Houston twice, and the Celts 3x? If so, that is a brutal early schedule.

It is his most logical landing spot if his goal is to win more rings.

Celts twice, but, yeah. I think they've only played 5 games against teams that currently have losing records. Two against the Jazz who are .500. So 14 or so games out of 21 against teams with winning records. Not bad.

If Fultz turns out to be a bust (I'm rooting for him but I'm not getting a great feeling) how is that not a colossal mistake far worse than anything folks want to pin on Hinkie? As far as I'm concerned, that was Colangelo's first major pick. Simmons was handed to him.

He will be fine. The Sixers screwed up handling his injury, shockingly. He'll be back to the player from UW after this all gets healed.

(I 90% believe what I just said, there's always gonna be the 10% of me that worries).

The secrecy is weird - even for the Sixers. Seems like they are trying to protect him or something. I don't know. Nothing about what has gone on with him makes sense to me. That's what worries me. If I thought it was just a weird, random shoulder thing that would heal and he'll be back to new, I wouldn't care. I don't get that vibe.
