Howie must not have wanted Wilson that much if he wouldn't outbid the Fins. 6 to 3 had to be way cheaper than 12 to 3.

They'll do fine at 12 and adding another 22 1st. There will still be either a big time CB or WR still on the board.

Would like to see them trade 37/84 for 25-ish.

And depending on the board they could trade down again from 12.

I agree. However, you seem to have more faith in their ability to have a good draft (when they need a Great draft IMO). With an already crappy team around Hurts what are you judging him on if you already have the notion to get a different QB

Kind of agree but isn't this the same idea they had with 11 before they ran him out of town? Surround him with mediocrity, draft shit for 4 years and boot him out? Makes drafting Hurts with a 2nd even more dumb knowing he really wasn't the plan moving forward. If you were done with 11 they could have drafted Chinn and still traded 11 and used a bridge QB or a year in 21 while retooling with 2 drafts but nope these guys are fucked. There is never any logic to anything they do.

Its exactly the same. Laurie and Howie couldn't emotionally handle winning the SB. They made bad decisions since, which corroded the caoching staff, players and direction of the team. And its obvious they are not Football Guys.

I have no faith in their ability to draft but we're stuck with Howie. I still think you'll be able to make a reasonable judgment on Hurts. Wentz wasn't benched because of the lack of talent around him. He played his way to the bench.
