  • Rock, Paper, Scissors

    Hope this is a joke.

Nick Sirianni said coaches are playing Rock, Paper, Scissors and Jeopardy against draft prospects. The objective is to gauge a prospect’s competitive spirit to determine how they’ll fit in the environment Sirianni is trying to create in Philly.

While such an interview tactic sounds unproductive, at least it is better than insulting a player's mother to see how they react. There are an endless supply of unconventional approaches. Sure, some people are competitive about everything in their lives. Other people are competitive about the things that matter with their job.

IMO, IF SOMEONE DOES NOT WANT TO WIN THE TRIVIAL BULLSHIT GAMES, SHOW NO COMPETITIVE SPIRIT, THEN DO THEY REALLY CARE ABOUT THE IMPORTANT SHIT..........

right. it's not just a R.P.S. game -- it's a creative way to get some team cohesion (or even just get them sharing something lighthearted to connect) when they can't meet up in person. Like an icebreaker? I have no issues with it.
