Explosive plays are those defined by the NFL that get 10+ yards rushing or 16+ in the air. Jalen Hurts ranks #1 in the league for explosive plays.
2700+ passing yards, over 700 rushing, and 23 TDS....yeah Hurts sucks. He has a lot to learn, and if you look at the season he is making progress, and he should be the kind of player we like. I gotta think Howie hatred colors some opinions about him. Let's just see how this season plays out before rushing to judgment, deep ball accuracy comes with experience, but in most other aspects, he is playing good and smart football right now.

He's been pretty good lately. My concerns come from games like today where they will stack the box.. Can he win with his arm? I am not yet convinced and 2 he has to clean up the turnovers which was one of Wetnz's main issues. Deep ball accuracy can get better with reps but his arm strength is what it is unfortunately.

Prime example of his issues. 5/14 48 yards. Stack the box and Hurts can't kill you with his arm. May get better with maturation but who knows. Too many games with this type of stat line early and often

That’s all well and good but I don’t think he was the 4th best QB in the NFC this year.

I know every QB has plays like that, but it’s a pattern with Hurts. Here’s to hoping this ends like the Ben DiNucci game.
