Kinda feel bad for him. Franchise is a dumpster fire. Feel like he is set up for failure. Also, he go the job after Leftwich said fuck no to it. Wish him well but history suggests he won't finish out his contract there. Also curious why no other teams were really interested in a SB winning coach. He should have had better options but fuck hard to say not to the $$$ no matter where it is.

I will be rooting for Doug even though if he has success it will be confirmation that Lurie screwed the pooch by firing him. He is a leader of men, just the kind of culture shift they need down in Jax.

Why? If anybody know how to win in a dysfunctional organization, its Doug. All he really has to do is develop Lawrence and that's his strength. Leftwich wants the Tampa job.

This is a perfect hire. He'll have them in the playoffs in two seasons. Can't wait to bet the Jax total!

I agree that he can be really good for Trevor and will help make him look like a #1 overall pick. I am not too sold on Khan and especially Baalke's decision making in putting a coach, QB or anyone to be honest anywhere near a place to succeed. Baalke especially is a power hungry Mofo and will want full control over all personnel decisions which is kind of something Doug had issues with in Philly so not sure why he would do it to himself again. (That being said, $$$$ talks) Hope Doug has more control and say over players and personnel but which might change things but history is not on his side. That being said, he helped deliver a SB here so I wish him the best and hope he does do well anywhere he goes.
