He is still and great corner but not at a huge cost at this point in his career. I wouldn't break the bank for him but he is definitely worth a decent contract. Him and Slay would be a great duo.

This move doesn't make sense for a rebuilding team. They already have Gowan and Vincent who the CGM traded for last year. They drafted McPherson who will most likely back up Maddox. If anything, they should see what they can get for Slay while his stock is high. Now is the time to see what the young players can do. They can still continue dumpster dive for depth.

The CGM's objective this offseason was to get a quarterback. He failed. As a result, they have to write off this season anyway. The Reddick move wasn't that smart but I'm guessing Walker shooting up the draft board may have given them no choice. This pass rush is an eyesore so he probably knew him drafting another DE most likely wouldn't immediately materialize anyway.

This team needs to sit out bringing in any name brand talent here and stay in the No Frills aisle.
