  • Yesterday was exactly what this D needed

Come back home, take care of Oaktown after their crushing loss and likely having nothing st all to play for Christmas night vs eagles.

Get after it like wild dogs, hit some mothers like they stole their lunch money, and rest up week 17 in meaningless game vs Dallas. Head into the playoffs confident, we’ll rested, and ready to. Win 2 playoff games in front of a frenzied home crowd.

BOOM, BUT WITH FAGS STEALING ANOTHER GAME, THAT GAME HAS POSSIBILITY OF KNOCKING THAT F'N STAR OUT OF PLAYOFFS.

yeah I am not going to crucify the defense till they play at home next week, then if they still have no emotion then its time to really worry.

I thought the Ram game was exactly what they needed.

One major concern for me was that I saw Robinson losing his mind on the sideline after they gave up the first long TD to King, and I thought, "ok, they're pissed and will get their shit together."

        Nope.

They continued to play the same shitbag coverage on those slant routes and Slack Jaw stayed clean.

Rams O is probably best in league right now. Giants 1 of the worst.

Giving up that kind of yardage & points to that team is a total embarrassment for that unit. And I somewhat expected the giants to come out inspired trying to fuck things up for ya. Big rival, wanna prove they’re not pieces of garbage etc.

But for it to continue all afternoon is mind blowing.

I’d love to see Douglas start this week over Mills or Darby.

Linebacker depth a huge issue. Goode suuuuuucks

I was referring to them talking about how the tackling sucked against the Rams and they were going to clean it up and they didn't.

I don't think Douglas is the answer, although he is longer and those balls over Darby's head might not have happened with him in there.

Douglas is slow but still a slightly better version of Eric Rowe.

(I realize that's a compliment to some people.)

Not really seeing a lot of blitzing going on. Giants seemed way too comfortable yesterday. As a result, I we are seeing some of the vulnerability on the back end.

we blitzed a lot on the first 3 drives when they scored. Manning was eating us (them) alive when we blitzed so they didn't call for them the rest of the way.

Think that was in Les Bowen's post game piece from last night.

They were tipping their hand on the blitz, seemed to me.

Rowe made a play at end of the game yesterday that I haven't seen from a philly corner in a while. blanketing a WR and creating game ending int? what a concept!

I'm really curious to know how Sidney looked in practice last week. He's already locked into the extra contract year... if he's showing anything at all, start getting him reps against Oakland this week.

Definitely. If he can play, we can use him.

I agree with Els - the narrative now is that Foles is fine but the D isn't good enough to win a Super Bowl. Hopefully they take that to heart.

yeah ... after getting smoked on a slant that went 70 yards to what set up what should have been the winning TD but for that stupid control rule
