he just can't hire a guy,,step back and let him run the team,,,he's constantly in the kitchen tossing in salt when its not needed...this team wins nothing until the racisist sells the team or , well, Natural circumstances. Much like Davis I see the team being handed down.

He gave the AFL owners backbone in their fight with the NFL. He sued the NFL and won, rightfully. Jones has always had the commissioner in his pocket. really wasn't comparing the young Al Davis; but the older Al who just couldn't relinquish control to a GM....Al Davis def contributed to the league we all know today..He worked with Don Coryell and countless others and changed the game...Will always give him his due...in the End he was just done and should have stepped back.
