    It was a clue that something was wrong with the run defense. I guess they were hoping to get more out of Miton Williams and Jordan Davis, but both of those guys had to deal with injuries. It's too bad because especially Davis was showing flashes of being a player. Fletcher Cox looks done to me. He could only be useful in this kind of deep rotation and we won't have that luxury next year with Hurts getting paid.

    Even if they pay Hurts next year, I don't think it will affect the cap that much until the following year, since he still has a year on his rookie deal. Big signing bonus to pay Hurts, but his salary itself won't kick in until 24. I expect most acquisitions this off season will be on D, since the O is still pretty much under contract.
