Kids got me Father's day gift for Birds/Vagiants on Christmas...any advice on lodging appreciated....also in for any tailgating

Well the zubbs stays at the Hotel near the airport...I'm sure it would be easy to look up.

We like to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Camden, NJ. Right on the river and then we usually take an UBER to the stadium and then hang out at Live Casino after the game until the smoke clears a little then take an UBER back to Hilton Garden Inn. We also sometimes just grab SEPTA right after the game and head towards City Hall cause SEPTA is free after the game. Then we walk around City Hall Area and eat, hang out before we UBER over to the Hotel. It has worked great for several trips and it's less expensive than in City options.

If money isn't an issue I'd just stay at Live Casino. We did that 1 time and it absolutely the best way to stay and go to a game. I don't know anything about tailgating at the game because I'm from Nebraska, but we try to get to one home game a year in Philly. Love it every time!
