Yes, apartment. We sold our house to our daughter and we moved up here to Berkeley Heights. My commute went from almost 1 hour to 5 MINUTES! I feel like I got my life back. I’ve been driving up here to work for 33 years and I don’t have a job where I can work from home. I have to be here in the lab to support this thing. Mrs. Penetrator retired. I’ll work for another couple of years and then we’ll figure out what and where we’ll buy something. It will definitely be in Jersey. Can’t tell you how nice it is to not cut grass and rake leaves. Only downside is I’m further from LFF.

Look in Monmouth County. It’s got every type of community you’d want — beach town, suburbia, semi-rural.

we're still in Ocean county...Moved last October, to new crappier old house in the woods...More our MO......Had to get out of Jackson,,,shame was such a cool town when I moved there 32 years ago....Oh well.

We’re thinking condo or townhouse, but something with a garage and a little outdoor area where I can have a grill. Something that faces green space or a golf course. I’ll tell you: It’s going to be hard to leave this area up here in North Jersey. It’s so nice for so many reasons. Unfortunately, it comes with a price and not the best decision for retirees.
