  • After sleeping on it, that game reminded me of the worst of the FF (Reid) area

Pass, pass, pass… go for the big play kill shot… try to force square pegs into round holes…ignore the feel of the game… poorly manage the game….be stubborn… lose

But FF (Reid) is a great coach! One of the best ever!

Guess we old timers think alike...I said exact same thing to my son watching the game...Hurts dropping back with no attempt at running could have been McNabb

Fire Brian “no brain” Johnson. Dude should not be an OC. Put him back as alQB coach and bring in a real OC. They’re lucky the Phillies play tonight so most fans are focused on that. I blame the lost 20% on Jalen but 80% on coaching specifically the OC.

Not that this makes the loss better, but I had no problem with all of the passing yesterday. They moved the ball at will through the air all the way until DeVonta's drop in the third quarter. There was no room on the ground with Jurgens and Johnson out.

I'd chalk the loss up to fluke stuff. The first INT, the fumble, DeVonta drop, missed FG.

The Eagles kind of got manhandled on offense yesterday. By the end of the game the Jets defense was teeing off on them. DeVonta really looked out of sorts all game long.

My big problem is that I think they are playing away from the team's, and specifically, Hurts' strengths. I am starting to get the feeling they structuring their planning in ways which are detrimentally affecting Hurts' play.

Could be. I actually thought we were going to see a signature Eagles game yesterday up until the Swift fumble. Hurts was playing great and they were on track to double up on possessions then just run clock against a bad offense.

They sure blew their house money.

Same sentiment but replace FF with Doug, circa 2018. A lot of coulda shoulda woulda and they lost a game they should've won - with the new OC taking a nice chunk of the blame even though the players screwed the pooch.

And no I am not defending the OC - I just do not think any of the 4 turnovers, crucial drops, or missed chip shot FG by the most clutch kicker in team history, had anything to do with the play calling(which was also lackluster but did not cost them the game).

Funny, you chalk the loss up to fluke stuff but can't chalk nunerous wins this season to fluke stuff. I love your optimism but this is not a really good football team right now bro. We are getting by on fluke and fluke ran out yesterday.

No, I said they were lucky to beat NE. The other wins weren't flukes.

It is absolutely absurd to say that this isn't a good football team.

Sorry man they are not a good football team. They barely beat NE who is shit, Minnesota who is shit Tampa is shit, Washington is shit. The only good win we have is last week and we just lost to the Jets. No we are not a good team. We are lucky to be 5-1 could easily have a 500 or losing record with a few plays made by Tampa, NE and even Washington. Let's be honest her man they got help winning those games by the other team making mistakes but by dominating the games.

And when your 200+ mill QB has more INTs than TDS with all the weapons he has we should be very very concerned.

Which teams do you think are good? For 6 weeks we've seen a team not string together a complete game - and they are 5-1. You know who does that? Good teams

We already went through this a couple of weeks ago. They didn't "barely beat" Minnesota or Tampa. Tampa especially, they outgained 470 to to 170 and held the ball for almost 40 minutes. They gave up a garbage time TD, God forbid.

I hate to break it to you, but 2 of those 3 "shit" teams are going to make the playoffs.

At this point I wonder if there are any good teams in the league.
