I hate to break it to you, but 2 of those 3 "shit" teams are going to make the playoffs.

At this point I wonder if there are any good teams in the league.

One fluke fumble away from a loss to Minny. A TD drop by Evans in the endzone and a massive drop to extend a drive in our zone that could have lead to another TD so ya 14 points there and it's a loss. Funny you don't mention Washington which could have been a loss. And fuck no Minny nor Tampa is making the playoffs.

No way this team, right now, is better than SF or Detroit. Especially SF and it's not even close.

For the third time, getting a couple of breaks does not equate to a fluky win. They were up multiple scores before garbage time against both Minnesota and TB.

I know you're big on being "right" about this team sucking, but you really need to give up with the Tampa game. That game was just out of hand before garbage time.

They could have lost the Washington game. Tampa is making the playoffs. You would be jumping off a cliff if this team lost to PJ Walker's Browns.

No I don't need to be right and often, unlike most on here, admit when I am wrong. How are we going to call it a fluke loss but not call a few fluky breaks a fluke win? Same shit different pile. We lost to fucking Zack Wilson, same shit pile my friend. Guy was demoted to 3td string so not sure PJ Walker is any worse! Great so we have come to the conclusion that they could have lost to both Washington and aside from some "lucky breaks" Minny as well and this team could be 3-3 with a QB throwing more picks than TD's and going into a game we probably will lose so could possibly. "barring some lucky breaks" be under 500! Wow, yup we are a special team for sure.

Kinda like the Vikings making the playoffs last year due to some lucky breaks and their luck ran out. Dangerous way to live in the NFL if you want to be a contender but ok you are right we good!

Absolutely - plus the hourly posts about how Shanahan can't get it done when it matters. Guy truly views the world through shit colored glasses, and any fan that isn't drinking bleach is complicit in the loss.

For the billionth time, it's not a fluke win when a couple of plays go in each team's way, yet one dominates in total yardage and has the game wrapped up in the third quarter. The Bucs game was not close in any way shape or form, and the way that the Eagles bled the clock at the end made it appear closer than it was. The Vikings game was closer and did involve some luck, but the Eagles were in control the entire second half.

There's also a big difference between a play left on the field and a completely random bounce of the ball. I've noticed that you keep citing those balls that Mike Evans almost caught (yet not mentioning the TD that AJ Brown almost caught or the fact that the Eagles didn't just run the brotherly shove from the 1 when it was 22-3). Fluke plays are the INT intended for Goedert, Swift's fumble, Elliott's miss from 38. Those plays are comparable to officiating luck. They are, again, random. The odds of all of those going against the team that was better in total yardage, TOP, on third down, on fourth down, and in the red zone are very slim.

I'm gonna stop posting in this thread now but yeah, despite the fact that they probably won't win the Super Bowl, the Eagles are good.

They were in a one-possession game against the Giants in the 4th quarter and needed two drive-extended penalties to win. Disgusting.

Lol. This is one of the five best teams in the NFL.

Although I am not as smart as some on the board think they are in retrospect my thoughts have changed. Having one really bad game off of the run this team has been on is not that hard to understand. Throw in the injuries and it was inevitable. The minute Jake missed that FG told us the game was lost. They will be back.

True. Sometimes it’s good to get these things out of your system. They had a few stinkers last year too but they seemed to be able to pull them out except against the Commodores.

The big problems are the injuries.

                      This.

Hopefully you wake up to a win in Rome. Have a great trip!

thanks, have never been so looking forward to it. A week away from the game will be good for me. All these wins between the Eagles and Phillies are a lot to take for an old Philly fan not used to it.

Amazing fact. Under Sirianni the Eagles have lost only five road games in three seasons. Three of the in his first year. Last years was without Hurts in Dallas. I think he knows what he is doing.

Throwing on third down was idiotic. And if you are going to throw you call a rollout where if Hurts has the option to pull it down and stay in bounds unless he has a wide open throw for a first down. Don’t drop back where Hurts doesn’t want to throw the ball away in the face of the rush which would stop the clock and instead makes a greater fuckup. Stupid clock management. FAFO.
