Backups arent expected to drive a team deep into the playoffs. They are employed to carry the team through a stretch if the starter goes down. The expectation that Foles should step in and lead this team to a Super Bowl is wishful thinking at best. Doesnt make him a bad backup. It just makes him a backup.
