I don't really agree with how this award works - it's basically the "QB on a top seed" award - but the odds reflect that and Hurts is on the inside track. Very cool.

It's sorta like how the "Coach of the year" is not really the best coach. It's more like the "Coach of the team that unexpectedly improved the most" award. (e.g. Vagiants coach last year) Some of the best coaches have rarely won that award, if at all.

I don't know. Winning is boring. Now if he were in a funny insurance commercial he would have a shot.
