Last night Brian Johnson did exactly what people have been begging him to do. The turnovers are just on Hurts. Even on the final pass, he had Gainwell open with no one near him.
It seems clear to me that the Eagles offense, for whatever reason, is unprepared to deal with situations such as the one at the very end of the game last night. Do they even practice what to do in these sort of situations? They had two time outs left.

So, according to you, people have been begging Johnson to call more TE screens with Smith and Watkins as blockers. Quality play calling there!

It’s also refreshing to see someone agreeing with the decision to throw that bomb to Watkins in crunch time when we were eating up both yards and the clock by running the ball and short passes. You’d make a pretty good OC yourself.

Gosh, we here at IGGLEPHANS have so much to learn from you about football!

People have been begging for Johnson to call a run-first game and to throw to receivers besides the big three. He did both.

I hated the bomb to Watkins too, but they got the ball right back and ultimately needed Hurts to complete a pass in order to ice the game. He didn’t do it.

Hurts is also completely free to see that Watkins is covered and throw elsewhere.

I believe by this point it is universally agreed (well, almost) that the hirings of Johnson and Desai pretty much thrust a good team into the world of mediocrity.

          This ^^^^^^^^^^^^^

The Eagles have too much talent on offense and haven't score over +20 pts in each of its last 3 games., Goedert a key weapon comes back, and it's gets worst. I posted a thread awhile back that Johnson is the main problem.
