Reid is a machine at churning out assistants as productive head coaches. Riverboat Ron and Harbs made it to and won a Bowl respectively. Dougie had the best record in the NFL this year and is in the conference title game. McDermott got Buffalo into the playoffs. Bowles had the Jets win WAY MORE games than anyone expected.
Andy is a phenomenal manager of men. He builds great staffs and knows how to get guys to buy in. On non game days, he’s the best non-Belichick coach in the league. It’s on game day where he falters. All these former assistants learned how to run a team from Reid and then (for the most part) manage in game better than him.

He's Moses. He gets you to the edge but never crosses over into the promised land.
I said last year when they picked him he had one significant factor in his favor: he played the most important position there is on a football team. He was a perennial backup but playing QB gives you a feel for the game. I’m convinced that when he crafts a game plan, he does it imagining the plays he would run as if he were the QB of this team. Plus he played for Shula and Holmgren and backed up
2 HOF players. Lots to learn from right there.
Tonight before the ball was even kicked I told our group at the casino the 1st offensive play for them was going to be play action. Atlanta was going to stack the box expecting them to run so why my throw it, and look what happened. If not for the Ajayi fumble they would probably had gotten at least 3 out f it.

With quality assistants, and they seem to work well together. He has everyone believing, those are good traits.
"I feel much better now that my pants are on."- overheard conversation at a Gayte
Jim Johnson was the biggest reason for FF success early on. Once Johnson was gone FF wasn't worth jack shit
Except he's won a bunch of games in KC without JJ. Still blowing chunks in the playoffs. He's got the organizational skills but can't cut it at crunch time.
