  • The clock Management at the end of the 4th Qrt....Classic FF

The clock was around 2:35 or so just as the play ended, and with a 3rd down and 2 time outs,,AR just sits there,,,Purdy comes to the line and lets the 30 seconds just click off the clock..if he called the TO,,,they have the ball on the SF 8 with 35 seconds to go instead of 9...and when they went to OT AR still had that TO on the board....Some things never change,,they could have ended it there for sure.....But in the End Mahomesss bailed out FF again...Must be nice....

Either way he is relying on his defense to make a stop on third down. SF gets the first down after the time out and they are running down the clock to hear zero before they kick.

The puzzling call was the quarterback draw on the last drive. That had to be a Mahomes free lance.

that was the spot to call the Time out...either way if they pick up the 1st its over...the difference is they most likely would not have had to play the OT.

You make a good point. In terms of clock mismanagement at the end of games, I don’t think this is anywhere near FF’s top ten.
