I would definitely take a 2nd and sign a cheaper edge in free agency. This won't excite anyone but I'd keep an eye out for Rip Van Winkle from the Dolphins.

No one. They gave Reddick permission to seek a trade so that he could gauge what he’d get in a new deal. They did the same thing with Slay last year. It’s been misinterpreted as Reddick asking to be traded.

He got swallowed up by tackles at the end of the year and moving to a 3-4 means the outside LB’s need to tackle in the run game. Fangio seems to like defensive players who are multi faceted and Reddick is a pass rush specialist. Nolan Smith is going to take that role.
