I think closing in the corners helped a lot with them keeping crowd noise in the stadium.

Of course.

But I have been attending games at the Linc since the inaugural season. They had some good teams, NFCCGs, rowdy crowds back then but the noise wasn't as loud as it was last weekend.

I am confident that closing in those corners has helped. Also helps that the guy behind me and the guy next to me kept shoving me any time I was not yelling.
